I moved to Uganda for a summer and left a piece of my heart there forever. Never have I experienced such a unique culture and environment. The poverty is real, and so is the love.

Based out of Mukono, I volunteered with politicians, healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals in creating both short term and long term projects to alleviate poverty. 

Some of our projects included the planning and executing of a dental outreach where over 300 decayed teeth were removed, and a vision outreach where we placed hundreds of reading glass and assisted patients in getting cataracts surgery.
