Uganda
In the summer of 2010, I had the exquisite opportunity to live in an East African country known as Uganda. Uganda is a land locked country that many of you might know through the "Invisible Children" charity. The average income per family is about $1.25 a day. While living in Uganda I was able to assist in several humanitarian projects including dental camps and eye camps. I visited with several families dealing with HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and other life threatening diseases. If you would like the opportunity to work in a similar style, please visit http://www.help-international.org.
